About Us
About our club
Quinte Trap & Gun Club has been in operation since 1956 and located at its present location since 1976. Nestled in the rolling hills of Sidney Township, the club provides a scenic and private location to enjoy the sport of trapshooting. The club has 5 registered trap fields all outfitted with voice activated release system as well as three automatic PAT traps.
Come and Shoot
The members, approximately 70 active, are a mixture of young and old, men and women, We have a mixture of the serious trap shooters and the weekend casual shooters.
Free lessons can be arranged. Trainees are responsible for the cost of the Ammunition and the Targets used during the lessons.

A very Happy Spring to everyone. Our annual Spring Clean Up has occurred and was very successful. The grounds and Club House are looking amazing.
Our Trap Houses are full and we are anticipating our first sanctioned shoot on April 21, 2024, with this being a Quinte League shoot. We are hoping for a "flying" success for this shoot and our first ATA shoot on May 5, 2024.
Our membership continues to grow and we do not have a wait list.
Please come out and enjoy the family friendly sport of Clay Target Shooting.

COVID-19 Restrictions

The Club continues to follow the HPEHU guidelines.
No limit on numbers inside the Club House now.
Masking is individual choice at this time.
ATA Shoot - August 11th, 2024
Registration begins at 9:00am.
Shooting will commence once there is a full squad. This is a shoot in memory of Hank Hamley who was a long time member of the Club.
Free BBQ lunch will be prepared. It will be a sausage on a bun or a hamburger with toppings and salads and one drink.
